Airtel launches Airtel IQ Video solution for streaming platforms

Bharti Airtel has launched its Video as a Service (CPaaS) platform “Airtel IQ Video†which leverages Airtel’s resilient cloud and advanced video technologies. The solution was developed by Airtel’s internal engineering teams.

During the beta phase, Airtel IQ Video was also deployed by Eros Now and CG Telecom from Nepal. Airtel expects to integrate more than 50 brands on the platform in the coming year, as market interest has been high.

Airtel IQ Video enables businesses to create world-class video streaming products for large and small screens with minimal investment in infrastructure and technology. It is an end-to-end managed solution that combines convenience and cost efficiency. It encompasses a variety of features ranging from application development, content hosting, curation and lifecycle management to models of search and discovery, analytics and monetization (advertising, subscriptions, transactions).
