Hill will bring his unique perspectives on culture, politics, race, sports and education to all leGrio media platforms: leGrio television network, leGrio free streaming app, leGrio news/entertainment site and the recently launched site the Grio Black podcast network (TGBPN). Marc Lamont Hill is an award-winning journalist, author, scholar, commentator and television host. Hill has won numerous awards from National Association of Black Journaliststhe National Academy of Digital Arts and Sciencesand GLAAD for his journalism. He was named one of the 100 most influential black leaders by Ebony magazines and The root 100. As a social activist, he led numerous campaigns to free political prisoners and stop executions. For more than 16 years, Hill has been a staple of mainstream media, delivering incisive political commentary on TV channels including CNN, BETand Fox News Channel. Hill has also hosted several programs, including BETTING NEWS, OUR WORLD WITH BLACK BUSINESS, IN THE FRONT, VH1 LIVEand HUFFPOST LIVE. He is the author of seven books, including New York Times best-selling PERSON. As a trained researcher, Hill holds a Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania. He is a professor of media studies at Temple University.
