“Divine” Community Project Harnesses Space Technologies to Offer Free Quran Distribution Services | New

CAP CANAVERAL, Florida, Jun 30, 2021 / PRNewswire / – I AM PART OF, a global charitable foundation created by an entrepreneur Choukhrat Ibragimov, announced today Divine, a community-based project that harnesses space technologies to distribute the free audio Quran, including the authentic collection of Sahih Al-Bukhari hadiths from space, to Muslims and anyone seeking to understand the sacred text of Islam throughout the world. Divine’s audio and media files have been integrated into a payload provided by the space-as-a-service solutions provider and partner. Spatial chain, and installed on a YAM-2 satellite, which is en route to space aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket as part of the carpooling program. The mission was led by Orbital Loft.

Divine was initiated to dispel misconceptions and stereotypes about the teachings of the Quran and to present a better understanding of what the Quran is for young and new Muslim communities, and the world.

By hosting information in terrestrial servers in space, Divine is able to send the teachings of the Quran to a wider audience due to the large coverage area offered by the satellite.

In case of successful activation in orbit in November 2021, the Quran files which are stored in the payload will be transmitted from space to several platforms built for the Divine project. They understand the Divine official website; as well as the Divine Live app, which is now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google play store.

Users will be able to access the Holy Text of Islam as well as full audio and text descriptions and explanations of the meaning of the teachings in different languages. Through Divine platforms, users can view the real-time location of the satellite which carries the Quran’s media files and receive transmission details such as orbital information from the satellite carrying the payload.

Plans are also underway to transmit Quran media files from space to audio receivers installed at designated ground stations located in rural areas around the world where internet access is limited.

ESV and SpaceChain have signed a memorandum of understanding for continued collaboration and the development of joint projects in the field of space technologies over a period of two years.
