A Northeast couldn’t stop this Top 25 Big East game from playing out this weekend as the No. 22 Marquette Golden Eagles invade the Dunkin Donuts Center to take on the Providence Friars. That game was postponed to Sunday due to a massive snowstorm that hit the northeast.

Marquette (15-6, 7-3 Big East) picked up its seventh straight win on Wednesday by beating Seton Hall 73-63. The Golden Eagles held this thing in check for the majority of the contest and were up 21 points midway through the second half. Justin Lewis put on a masterful performance, collecting 33 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

Providence (17-2, 7-1 Big East) is coming off a thrilling 65-62 win over Xavier on Wednesday. It was a close game throughout the second half and the Brothers were able to have the last laugh when Jared Bynum buried the winning trio with two seconds left. He had 16 points off the bench, Al Durham leading with 22.
