Modern Love Hyderabad poster released, series to stream on Amazon Prime Video from July 8

Modern Love Hyderabad now has a release date. It’s all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video starting July 8.

Modern Love Hyderabad includes Revathy, Nithya Menen and Ulka Gupta.

Amazon Prime Video has announced the world premiere of Modern Love Hyderabad on June 22. The Telugu edition of the popular international anthology, Modern Love, is set to premiere on July 8. It will feature six diverse stories exploring different facets and forms of love against the backdrop of Hyderabad. The anthology features stories from 4 acclaimed filmmakers.


After more than a month of premiering Modern Love Mumbai, Amazon Prime Video has announced the air date of Modern Love Hyderabad. The Hyderabad edition is also inspired by the famous New York Times column, Modern Love. It brings together four creative minds from Indian cinema – Nagesh Kukunoor, Venkatesh Maha, Uday Gurrala and Devika Bahudhanam.

A SIC Productions, the new Telugu series, is produced by creator Elahe Hiptoola with Nagesh Kukunoor as showrunner. Modern Love Hyderabad will present a bouquet of six heartwarming stories exploring different shades of love.

The anthology includes

  1. My Unlikely Pandemic Dream Partner – directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, stars Revathy and Nithya Menen
  2. Fuzzy, Purple and Full of Thorns – directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, starring Aadhi Pinisetty and Ritu Varma
  3. What clown wrote this script! – directed by Uday Gurrala, with Abijeet Duddala and Malavika Nair
  4. Why did she leave me here…? – directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, with Suhasini Maniratnam and Naresh Agastya
  5. Abour That Rustle In The Bushes – directed by Devika Bahudhanam, starring Ulka Gupta and Naresh
  6. Finding Your Penguin – directed by Venkatesh Maha, starring Komalee Prasad
