Chelsea are at the top, one point behind Liverpool in second. Norwich, meanwhile, struggled on his return to the Premier League and failed to secure any wins in the first eight games. .

Chelsea will be without Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner for the game, as they both injured each other in the 4-0 win over Malmö midweek. Lukaku has an ankle problem while Werner tore his hamstrings in the first half of the comfortable victory.

The Canaries have no new injury issues heading into the game. Mathias Normann is expected to be in good shape for the visitors, but Todd Cantwell will not be involved as he continues his comeback from injury.

The Blues have an early chance to place themselves four points ahead of Liverpool in the standings if they beat Norwich, with Jurgen Klopp’s men only in action on Sunday when they face Manchester United.
