“I love betting on the 49ers and Kyle Shanahan as underdogs. Since taking over in San Francisco, Shanahan’s 49ers teams have gone 25-17 ATS as underdogs , up from 16-24-1 as favorite dogs, the Niners are 17-to-10. As road dogs outside the division, they are 11-6. Aren’t there any wonderful trends?

“Also, while they went 3-0 ATS last week, big favorites don’t tend to do well in the NFL playoffs. Including last week, they have a record of 11-13 ATS since the 2017 season, and my stupid brain is telling me that we’re bound to see some regression this week after those blowouts last week. Maybe that’s wishful thinking, but my numbers confirm that as well. I have the Packers much closer to being the field goal favorites in this game than the near touchdown favorites.” – CBS Sports’ Tom Fornelli takes on San Fran to cover the spread. “I’m going to give Kyle Shanahan the edge here over Matt LaFleur, as good as LaFleur has been, where Shanahan has taken care of business against him most of the time, with the exception of this regular season. I think the 49ers are living to win the game, and I love that they get six I don’t think it’s a good game for Green Bay, but it’s also a tough place for San Francisco to go there and have to play by this time against this talented of a football team in the Packers.”

That’s Will Brinson’s take on the Pick Six podcast, where he, RJ White and Pete Prisco broke down all the games from a gambling standpoint and handed out the best bets. Listen to it below and subscribe for great NFL content in your daily feed.

CBS Sports fantasy and gaming editor RJ White was on a tear with his picks involving the Packers. White went a remarkable 50-16-1 on his last 67 picks involving Green Bay, netting over $3,100. In this game against San Francisco, White is experiencing a crucial X-factor that has him supporting one side of the gap. We can tell you he’s leaning under the total, but to see his pick for this game you’ll need to head over to Sports Line. “Tristan Wirfs being injured and his shaken replacement really concerns me. At some point, injuries will catch up with the Buccaneers. Also, I had the Rams in the Super Bowl this year. – CBS Sports NFL Insider Jonathan Jones is considering a surprise in this game. To read his insider diary and the rest of his divisional round picks, click here.

“Both of these teams had strong performances in the wild card round, each winning by multiple scores. While the Rams defeated the Bucs in their regular season game, I think the math changes with this game being played at the Raymond James Stadium At home, the Buccaneers averaged an NFL record 409.8 yards per game and an average winning margin of 16.1 points, which also topped the league.

“The Rams were also a statistically strong team on the road this year, but were within .500 of SoFi Stadium ATS. Against teams with a winning record, LA was also 2-5 ATS in their seven I see Tom Brady being able to nullify the Rams’ pass rush with quick throws from the pocket and work his way down the field to build up enough margin of victory that exceeds that placement gap. – CBS Sports’ Tyler Sullivan leads the Buccaneers to win and cover this week.To read his column, click here.

Before making any Rams vs Buccaneers picks or any other NFL predictions, you need to see which side RJ White is on. That’s no surprise, as White has twice cashed in the world’s most prestigious soccer handicap competition, the Las Vegas SuperContest. Additionally, White went an incredible 33-18-4 on his last 55 picks involving Tampa Bay, netting nearly $1,300. “This is a rematch of a game earlier this season that the Bills won on home court from the Chiefs. Both the Bills and the Chiefs have impressive wins. Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen lit up their opponents last week, but it’s a big step forward for both in terms of defenses. The Bills have the highest-ranked defense in the league and built their passing rush in the offseason to beat Mahomes. of the Chiefs isn’t as good, but she played a lot better on the course in the second half of the season. The Chiefs love the blitz, which will leave Allen free to run and run throws. I think that will be the difference here. The Bills behind Allen will win a fun shootout for the ages.” — CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco has the Bills scoring the upset! To read his breakdown of each match, click here.

“What an absolute banger of a game. My CBS bosses are running pure right now, catching 49ers/Cowboys and now this Josh Allen/Patrick Mahomes game. If you claim to KNOW how this game will go, you’re a liar. Or Biff Tannen It’s a heavyweight title fight on the weekend of the divisional round Mahomes takes the lead at QB, even though Allen has been playing better lately Andy Reid is a pretty big advantage over Sean McDermott but let’s not forget Reid FIRED McD of the Eagles These teams have met many times before but going through Bill Belichick/New England, Reid/KC/Mahomes and maybe even Tom Brady is a glove. Bills could quell a few curses with a win here. I don’t think anyone can guarantee a winner here, so I’ll take the points and the scrappy underdog with the best roster in a shootout.” –CBS Sports’ Will Brinson likes the Bills advancing to the AFC Championship Game.
